Heartland Commerce Center
EIR Addendum and Specific Plan | Beaumont, California

The Heartland Commerce Center Specific Plan provides for development of up to 5,021,000 square feet of distribution warehouse uses on an approximately 417.2-acre site located in the City of Beaumont. Objectives of the Project include:
- Transition the existing undeveloped site into a productive use;
- Capitalize on available and planned access to major and secondary roads within the City, with direct connection to the regional freeway system;
- Provide jobs-producing, industrial uses to the City of Beaumont and local community; and
- Increase economic benefits to the City of Beaumont through increased job creation.
Development of the Project would accommodate distribution warehouse uses instead of the residentially-oriented uses previously allowed under the Site’s Specific Plan and Tentative Tract Map.
